At Voss Heritage Farm, our name is our mission. It’s a promise to honor the past by raising a new standard of quality for the future. We are a family-run farm dedicated to preserving rare and exceptional heritage livestock, right here in our community. We believe that true quality comes from a commitment to authenticity, from the first step to the final product.
Our Heritage Birds
We believe in the rich tradition of raising poultry the way it was meant to be done. From our pastures come an array of heritage birds, including turkey, chicken, and goose. Our birds are raised with the utmost care, a life a world away from commercial farms. We are proud to say that we do not feed commercial feed of any kind. This philosophy ensures our birds live healthy, natural lives, and it’s a commitment you can taste in their unmatched flavor and quality.
Whether we are sending our finest birds to fairs, providing them as fresh, organic meat for your holiday table, or simply sharing our passion with you, every animal from our farm is a testament to our dedication.
The Sarr-Lan Legacy
Our commitment to building a new legacy extends to our work with dogs. We are the proud pioneers of the Sarr-Lan, a truly unique and remarkable breed created from a purposeful blend of the Sarplaninac and the Newfoundland. These dogs are a perfect reflection of our values: a gentle heart combined with a fiercely protective nature.
Our breeding program is built on the same principles as our farm. The mother of our first litter, Togo, was nourished on a wholesome, raw diet throughout her pregnancy and nursing. We extend this high-quality care to her puppies, who are later introduced to a partially raw diet alongside a top-tier food to ensure they get the very best start in life.
